how do I reduce my calendar size?

My calendar size is over 50 MB. I want to reduce it, but I'm not sure what
it will delete or save. Help needed
 
Use F1 help to look up Archiving.

reading.

I find it handy to view the calendar in a table view and then remove the
appointments whose end date has passed.
