I have a hard drive that previously crashed that is now working. I put it in
my current computer as a secondary hard drive but need to retrive all of the
Outlook information from it (emails, contacts, etc.). When I load up Outlook
it only brings up Outlook information that has accumulated with this
computer. I never had a chace to export data (.pst) with the old hard drive.
Is there a way I can grab this info off the old hard drive without setting
it up as the primary hard drive?

There should still be a PST file on the drive since that's where Outlook
stores mail/data when you're not using an Exchange server. You should find
it here: C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Hi,

If the file is erased anyway, you can bring it back using data recovery
tool, such as Active@ Undelete or Uneraser(DOS). These are imho most
powerful utilities, as they never failed me before. One was even able
to bring back data really long considered completely lost. That should
help you. give it a try.

Thank you. That worked perfectly. I had done a search on *.pst but nothing
turned up and I didn't know where to go specifically to find this file. That
saved me a lot of heartache!

Thanks again.
