how do I recover an unsaved word document

I need to recover a document I was working on for 4 days and did not save and
the document closed and I dont know how to recover it. Please help.
 
You worked on it for four days and didn't save? I'd say that was pretty
careless and it looks like you're paying the price. I'm afraid it's gone.
