'Recuperated'? If you delete a file and it is not in the recycle bin that
chances of recovering it are slim. You would need third party file recovery
software preferably downloads from a different PC and run from external
media.
"Recuperated" = "recovered." The OP is referring to a file that was saved by
AutoRecover (an .asd file). If a "recovered" file is not saved when
presented on reopening Word, I think it's gone.
I recently installed Undelete Professional 2009 which has an intelligent
Recovery bin that replaces the Windows recycle bin. This retains a link to
even deleted ASD files. Sadly it won't work retrospectively, but otherwise
it can be a life saver.
