How do I recover a deleted spread sheet?

Check the recycle bin.

Otherwise , if you do not have a backup copy or installed recovery software,
you might try performing a Google search for Data Recovery.

In this latter case, in order to maximise your chances of successful
recovery, I would suggest that you stop any work on the problem computer.

and set up a backup routine...
purchase a cd writer, and you can back up to a re writable cd with the
right click of a mouse...
