How do I re-set appointments to the correct time

Upon reinstalling Microsoft Office and then updating Outlook from a VPN
server, all the appointments in the calendar appear 3 hours earlier than
originally posted. This appears on all past, present and future appointments.
When open recurring and non recurring appointments they all show the correct
time, but when I return to the Calendar all appear 3 hours earlier, e.g. an
8:00 appointment shows a 5:00 start time. How can I fix this.

Check your calendar times (normal and DST) against Windows Control
Panel->Regional Settings and the Windows clock to ensure they are all using
the same time zone and DST settings.
