how do i re-install microsft word

i had a virus so i had to delete many things from my computer and i have now
realised i have deleted microsoft word and other microsoft programmes and i
really need htese programmes as.a.p so i can do my coursework. i have
micrsoft windows xp.

I guess if you had the installation disk, you wouldn't be asking the
question.

If you bought a retail copy of Office and you can find any proof of
purchase, you should be able to replace the disk:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=326246. If Office came bundled with the
computer, you need to ask the computer vendor to replace the disk.

If neither of those avenues works for you, you'll have to buy a new copy. If
cost is an issue -- isn't it always? -- you can probably get by with Open
Office, which is free for download and can handle most Office features and
file formats (http://www.openoffice.org).
