How do I rank, by a calculated field, in an access report?

I have created an Access 2003 report that calculates a percent achieved
towards a goal. The report itslef is rather complex. It pulls in values
from other reports as well as caclulating totals, averages & projected finish
at the end of the quarter.

I want to rank people based on their percent of goal achieved. I want this
rank to be automatically calculated each time new data is added to the
database.

Thanks,
Dave

In order to sort the report by calculated field, it must be in the
recordsource of the report.

Create a calculated field in your query that gives this value. You will then
be able to sort by this field - by choosing it in the report's
Sorting'n'Grouping dialog.

Sorry. I should have been a bit clearer in what I am looking for. I don't
want to sort by this field, I want Access to tell me what rank each person
is. For example, person #1 is ranked 30th and peson #2 is ranked 10th, etc.
The sorting is already set up by where they work. For simplicity purposes
of the people viewing the reports, I don't want people to have to search for
where their report is and have them show up in a different place each week.
There is a different page for each person within this report.
