G Gord Dibben Oct 21, 2004 #3 You can add the diagonal line using Format>Cells>Borders but this does not split the cell into two parts. You can color the cell by Format>Cells>Patterns. But.......You cannot have a different color either side of the line. One color per cell. Gord Dibben Excel MVP
