When printing a webpage with MS Internet Explorer and you want the footer to
state the webpage, the way I would do it is to copy the URL or the web
address for the webpage and paste that in the Footer box inside Page Setup
found in Internet Explorer on the File menu. If printing a document that you
are downloading from the internet, I would follow the same steps but inside
Word.
This is a browser setting. In Internet Explorer, for example, go to File |
Page Setup. There are various codes you can enter to print various things.
The code for the URL is &u. The default footer is &u&b&d. If you click on
the ? button at the top of the Page Setup dialog and click in the header or
footer box, you'll get an explanation of the various codes.
