how do i print on coloured paper

I am trying to print gold on to red paper. I have found the colour I want
but it wont show up on red Can anyone help?
 
I assume you mean because the color of the paper shows thru. That's what
going to happen with your desktop printers. Your alternative is to use white
paper and cover all of the background with red. Oh, and don't forget to buy
stock in your ink cartridge manufacturer. You might as well get something
out of an investment like that.
