Even though I have 'remove hidden data' set on and do not see any tracking of
changes on my screen the recipient can see all changes and the history of
changes. I have tried to work through the word help to rectify but all
changes I have made still allow the end user sees my changes . This lack of
control only occurs with Word 2003.

Hi Gpworduser

Hiding tracked changes does not remove the tracked changes from the
document. And, you can't control how the recipients of a document choose to
view the document. That is, if you send a colleague a document that contains
tracked changes, the colleague can choose whether or not to view them.

You will need to accept or reject all the tracked changes in the document
before sending it to someone. Do that from the Reviewing Toolbar.

Hope this helps.
