How do I place a limited fill in space in a questionnaire ?

I need to put up a questionnaire. When somebody is answering, they should
have an assigned space. Even if it is a long answer it should not change the
layout of the page or move lignes further dow. I do not want to insert a text
box, it seems not flexible enough. Any suggestions???

How are you creating the questionnaire? If you're using the Forms toolbar,
you can insert the form field into a table cell and set the height of the
cell to EXACTLY.
