how do i personalise my login picture

Assuming the "problem" is that you don't have the picture you want:

Start
Control Panel
User Accounts

You will be offered the opportunity to select an account and
change it. One of the options will be to change the picture.
You will then be offered a couple of dozen standard pictures,
but you will also be offered the opportunity to browse for
another picture. Click on that and then navigate to the
picture you want. I haven't actually tried changing my
picture, so possible problems past this point are yours to
discover :), or :(
