how do i open an access file listed as 'from an untrusted site' a.

I am trying to open an access database done on a computer from my office. I
get the error message "Microsoft Access cannot open this file. This file is
located outside yourintranet or on an untrusted site. Microsoft will not
open the file due to potential security problems. To open the file copy it
to your machine or to an accessible network location."
I have emailed the file to my computer, and then copied it to "My
Documents", and I have copied the file onto a CD at the office and tried to
open the CD on my machine, both still result in the same error message. I am
using Access XP on an XP professional windows system.

I have a customer who says he's experiencing the same problem. I'm waiting
for him to send me his database so I can investigate. He should do that over
the next day or so, so if you're problem hasn't been resolved by then, I'll
post back with whatever I can figure out.

Try...
Right click the file, properties, Unblock.
