How do I open an access database file, file extension mdb

I cannot open the Family History Resource File - Vital Records Index British
Isles CDs produced by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I
could open it with Windows 95 but not with Windows XP Home. What do I do?

Windows is an operating system; Microsoft Access is a *program* which
works under that operating system. Do you have Microsoft Access
installed (see under the Office folder on the Start menu)? If so, that
is the program which you will need to use.

If you're using Access and having trouble, please post the version of
Access that you're using, how you are trying to open the database, and
what error you are getting.
