How do I only print only the outside or the inside of my booklet?

I have a laser printer in my office capable of handling the printing of the
inside of my booklet, but the outside has color which requires my use of
another printer. I'd like to print the outside on the color printer (in one
location) then print the inside on the laser (in another location). Is this
even possible? Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Printing specific pages of booklets created with the "Book fold" option has
always been hit-or-miss in Word. In theory, if you select a specific page to
print, Word is supposed to print it with the facing page and the two pages
that would be on the reverse of the sheet. In my experience, what actually
prints is usually the wrong page(s) or a blank page or pages (or
occasionally nothing at all). If only the cover has color, you might have
better luck setting up the cover as a separate document (for this you could
just use the "2 pages per sheet" option rather than "Book fold") and print
it separately.
