How do I move the loaction of My Documents?

I've read somewhere that it's advisable to move the location of My
Documents folder.

Is this a good idea?

And how do I do this?

I've read somewhere that it's advisable to move the location of My
Documents folder.

Yes, it is possible. Right-click "My Documents" and you'll see a button to
move the default location. As far as "advisable", I guess that really
depends on why. If you've got a second physical disk (not logical partition
on the same disk), moving the default location will provide greater data
protection in the event of a system failure. But moving the default
location to somewhere else on the same physical disk really doesn't give you
much benefit that I can think of.
