How do I move a record from one table to another in Access

the record I need to move from one table has different field names than the
table I need to move it to how do I map which fields to copy all the data
into the correct fields/columns in the new table?

Create your append query in design view by pulling down the field names and
then selecting which field they go to. Just make sure the datatype matches
or convert the data first.
