How do I make the subject line bold in Outlook?

I would like to occasionally make my subject lines bolded. Any help would be
appreciated.
Thanks.
 
the subject line is always plain text, can't do anything to it in terms of
formatting.

Bolded for whom? For you or your recipient? What version of Outlook?
 
For myself and the recipient. Microsoft Professional Edition 2003

You can do what you want for yourself (Tools>Organize), but you can't
control what the recipient sees in their Inbox list.
