how do i make the home page the shared border page? right now it .

i need to replicate the borders of the home page so i can make changes and
they are repeated on the other pages. right now this is being done by one of
the other pages within the site. I need to figure out which page it is
steming from and how to change it. please help.

You need to apply shared border to your site, then you can edit the top.htm, left.htm and bottom.htm
files that created in the _border folder. This folder is hidden, so you have to go to Tools | Web /
Site Settings | Advanced tab and enable viewing of hidden directories.

The shared border content are files stored in the _borders folder (which might be
hidden in the file-list in FP)

Please clarify what you mean by "replicate the shared borders on the home
page..."

Have you applied the shared borders to the home page? (Format > Shared
Borders...)
