How do I make text disappear in Word once it receives focus?

In a tabular report I have some pre populated text in the template document
that prompts users what to do. Once user clicks on a particular cell of the
table, that text should disappear and clear the cell for user to enter the
data.

How is it possible to do this in MS Word 2003?

Many Thanks

You could place form fields in the cells in the table and use the default
value as the prompt.

To insert from fields, right-click on any toolbar and select the Forms
toolbar.
