How do I make one fill an A4 page?

I want to make posters by using one A4 page per letter. Any ideas?

Perhaps I'm not understanding the complexity of what you're asking. Are you
wanting to create a banner with a letter per page to spell out a phrase like
"Happy Birthday?" OR are you trying to resize an 8.5x11 ("letter") page to
fit A4?

Could you pelase elaborate?
