How do I make an intercative index?

I've marked all my entries. I've appended my document with an index. Now I
want to click on any item in the index and be taken to the marked entry, just
like when i Ctrl+click to follow link in the TOC.

I think you'll find that the reality would be more of a nightmare than a
dream... For one thing, the index items are listed there *once*, but may be
located in numerous spots throughout the document. How would any kind of a
link be able to jump to multiple targets? How would the user know which one
to follow?

If you really would benefit from such a document you might want to look into
some of the better & more powerful PDF generators out there.

I'm guessing you would want the page numbers to be hyperlinked to the entry?
But Word doesn't offer this feature. Try searching the general web in case
there's a third-party method out there. "hyperlinked index" is the term more
commonly used.
