How do I make a poster with PPT?

I need to make a poster presentation for a conference that is 120cm by 90cm.
I have access to a plotter for printing and someone told me that PPT can be
used to make a poster that large. I have not been able to find out how to
make it that large though.

Any help.

Thank you

Stubek,

The trick is to make the page size in powerpoint the same 'proportion' as the poster you want to print.

So you could, in powerpoint, go

File menu > page setup >
enter a width of 120cm
height of 90cm

or 12cm
by 9cm

Then when it's time to print....just set the page size on your printer > properties
Then tell powerpoint to "scale to fit"
If that does not work for you.....go
file > print > properties > then somewhere on your plotter/printer driver should be a setting to scale the print for
you.

something like
Application page size is X,....please scale to paper size Y

Design your posters on slides of standard size and tick the "fit to page"
box in the print dialog menu when printing.

Kind regards,
