How do I make a linked photo fade

I have inserted various-sized photos on a page and linked them to their
full-page version. How do I make these home-made 'thumbnails' fade as mouse
passes over?

You can use JavaScript
(http://javascript.internet.com/navigation/fading-rollover.html) or CSS (do
a search for Fading Images with CSS) to do this however the page that
contains the full-page version will need to have the code on it. If you've
just created a link from one image to a larger image this won't work.
