How do I link Data tables to a graphic map

I'd like to link data access tables to a graphic map so that when i click on
a specific area (label) of a map, i get a drop-down list of data pertinent to
that area of the map. How do I develop this?
 
Are you using any specific map program or are you trying to use an Access
form? If you are using an Access form, which version of Access are you using.
I know this doesn't help answer your question right away, but it does give
people more detail of what is exactly going on.

Maps as in geographic maps? Then look at Microsoft MapPoint. It can be
automated to do what you want.
