How do I limit Powerpoint monitors to two?

I am running a dual monitor system and for some reason, Powerpoint is seeing
three monitors instead of two that are connected. I wish to control the slide
show from my first monitor and show the slideshow on the second screen.
Powerpoint is defaulting to a third monitor which is a combination of my
first and second monitor. I want to get rid of the nonlegit third monitor and
have Powerpoint default to either my first or second monitor, peferably the
second monitor. Thanks.

While I have never had this configuration, I would wager that by adjusting
the identification numbering of the monitors you could have it default
correctly. To adjust the monitor identification numbering, use the display
properties in the control panel.
