How do I know if my harddrive is formatted to use NTFS? Thanks

Hi Angelo,

You can check by doing the following:

Start - Run - diskmgmt.msc

This will show you all your hard drives and partition layouts and the file
system that is on each partition.

Enter this at the command prompt:
format c:

Then press Ctrl+C to discontinue.

??????? Bit of a prattish way to do it.

Right-Click on C; in My Computer select Properties. The general Tab shows
the file system.
 
Ah, but who has time to reach for a mouse and click on a bunch of nonsense!
