How do I kill that popup Clipboard thing?

Greetings all,

Outlook 2000 on Windows 2000.

I don't know what this thing is called, but it keeps popping up whenever I
do a copy/paste from within an open email message. It's some kind of
clipboard viewer.

In my case, this thing is totally useless and an interference with my
workflow. How do I permanent turn it off>

Thanks,

Taken from Outlook 2000 help:

If you close the Clipboard toolbar three times in a row
without using the Paste All button or any of the copied
items, the Clipboard toolbar no longer appears
automatically. To display the Clipboard toolbar again,
point to Toolbars on the View menu, and then click
Clipboard. You can also display the Clipboard toolbar
again by copying an item two times consecutively.

Hope this helps

Thanks Mark,

I've tried it, and it works, but as soon as I reboot, the Clipboard viewer
returns and I have to kill it 3 more times. It's like the Terminator, it
just won't die!

Is there a registry tweak to turn off the whole process?

Start > Settings > Control Panel

Add / Remove programs

Windows Setup (or Add / Remove Windows Components)

Highlight Accessories and Utilities (or System Tools)

Click Details

Highlight Accessories

Click Details

Uncheck Clipboard Viewer

Terminated! (Hopefully)
