How do I keep Word from hanging up when I go to print preview?

I have Word 2002, with Windows XP SP3,as part of the Microsoft Office
Student/Teacher Edition 2002. I own a Dell, but I added the software on to
the computer. Every time I go to "Print Preview," Word get hung-up, and
won't respond. I have to close Word every time I go to "Print Preview." Why
is this, and what can I do to stop that?

The problem is with the printer and printer driver, which Word has to talk
to in order to render the preview. Either the printer driver is corrupt
(most likely) or your default printer is a network resource that isn't
available. Delete and reinstall the printer.
