HOW DO I KEEP MICROSOFT EMAILER FROM BEING THE DEFAULT MAIL PROG

when for example my jpeg shower brings up my email prog to email a pix the
email prog is the outlook express w/in microsoft OFFICE. i want to only use
my stand alone OUTLOOK EXPRESS shipped in xp

how can i make this happen?

Firstly, what is contained in Microsoft Office is NOT Outlook EXPRESS -
it's just Outlook, a completely separate program to outlook EXPRESS. If
you don't use Outlook, then just uninstall it. (Control Panel-Add/Remove
Programs-Microsoft Office-Add/Remove components. I think)

In Internet Options, go to Programs and change your default email program
to Outlook Express.
