How do I keep add-ins on the tools menu?

Greetings smart people,

I am just now discovering add-ins and have a question please. I downloaded
an Excel add-in called "caseconvert.xla" from Chip Pearson's page. Once the
file is opened, "Convert Text" appears as an item under the tools menu.
However, when I restart Excel it disappears, it's gone from the menu, poof.
So I was wondering if there is a way to make add-ins permanent menu items?

I'm using WinXP Pro, Excel 2002
Thank you in advance.

Michael,

Did you open it as an Excel workbook, or did you install it?

You should install it by going into Tools>Addins, click the Browse button ,
and open the xla file from there. It will then appear in your list, check it
to make it available.
