How do I keep Access open when I close a document?

Use to be I could open a database, work in it then close it and open another
one. Now when I close the database, Access closes completely. How do I get
other X in the top right corner for the database?

I'm on 2007 now and have forgotten prior versions, but I now have to click
the MS Office button in the upper left and select Close Database. I thought
2003 was File/Close Database.

Thanks, I was hoping maybe there was a way to get the X in the right top
corner like you can in Word, but that route doesn't work.
