How do I insert text on a line in preprinted page w/o line moving.

I would like to make a page with blank, underlined spaces and then be able to
go back later and fill in those spaces. Whenever I have tried to do this,
the lines move as the text is inserted. Can someone please help me?
 
Which software are you using?

This newsgroup is for Microsoft Access (a database application) and not
general computer "access".

If you are using Word, suggest you check Word Help on "Boomark" /
"DocumentVariables" or re-post your question to the relelvant newsgroup for
Word.
