How do I insert linked pictures using a relative link?

I am storing my PPT file on a USB drive that gets mapped to various drive
letters. Each time the drive letter changes, I get broken links to all my
linked pictures. Is there any way to make my links relative?

Presently I'm using PPT '97, but plan to upgrade. Thanks in advance!

For linked pictures, you're covered. The free demo of our FixLinks addin will
make your image links pathless.
