I just got Outlook 2003 and I cannot insert a background sound the way I did
in it's older version. The okd way was to click Insert > Background > Sound
and when the email was opened the sound was playing. I followed the
instructions in the Help file of Outlook and on Microsoft.com but it seems
the best I can do is Insert > Object and the browse to the sound file. this
inserts a little speaker into the eamil, but no sound is playing and you are
not able to click on the speaker to hear the sound.

I would greatly appreciate any help with this, I am getting more frustrated
with this version of Outlook by the minute.

Thank you,
Laura

Are you using Winxp SP2? Inserting sound isn't working with it.
