How do I importing a variable into a web text box using frontpage.

I am trying to link a variable from an e-mail to a variable into a web text
box.

Is this something that can be done with frontpage, or do you have to use
scripting?
 
Requires server-side scripting written in ASP, PHP, etc. to accomplish.
