How do I import from Excel to a powerpoint presentation?

I need do a presentation with hundreds of slides or lines as credits. This
is for a cancer memorial and will list a "to name", message, and a "from
name". It will be too time-consuming to complete each slide in powerpoint.
I would like to import the data from a spreadsheet into powerpoint. Thanks
