How do I import daily currency rates?

Running xl2002 and 2003 you have the Data>Import External Data>Import Data
which leads to the My DataSources folder with an Exchange Rate download from
MSN MoneyCentral.

Automatic?

Record a macro while opening the file and importing to a worksheet.
