How do I import a graphic in EPS format? It now returns an error.

I wish to insert a graphic that is now in eps format, exported from Adobe
Pagemaker. However, each time I insert using the Insert / Picture / From
File and select encapsulated postsript as the format, it gives me an error
message.

Any hints.

ISTR that PageMaker exports an odd variant of EPS intended only for its own
use. In fact, do recent versions even do this any longer?

You might be better off grabbing a screen shot, saving as a file and popping
that into PPT.

Thanks. WE did a variation since I don't have Adobe. The creator of the
graphic sent me a pdf. I then captured what I wanted of the image and pasted
it in.

Oh shoot, I should have suggested that too. PageMaker's been able to make PDFs
since forever or within a day or two of it.
