How do I hyperlink a cell in an .xls file to a .pdf page

I would like to hyperlink a cell in a spreadsheet with a page in a .pdf file.
How do I do that?
 
Activate the cell where you want the hyperlink. Go to Insert\Hyperlink.
Follow the prompt box and locate the file. Click OK after locating the file.
The hyperlink will appear on your worksheet to link to the file you've
selected.

If the OP's question was how to direct to a specific page within the PDF,
try to direct your hyperlink to filename.pdf#page=5
