how do i hide deleted items and search folders?

Hi guys!,

I'm using Outlook 2003 on a WinXP SP2 machine. I have connected to my
Exchange server and also created a local personal folders. I see that my
personal folder structure has the default Search Folder and Deleted items.

I want to be able customise what kind of folder to be displayed. Is there
any way to hide them since I already have both the same folders on the
Exchange server?

No, since these two folders are required and function for the individual
folder set. For instance; deleted items go to the Deleted Items folder of
the folder set that they are in. Also, Search Folders are limited to the
scope of the folder set that they are in.
