How do I get two users to share an email inbox

I am running windows xp and have each family member with their own account.
The kids each have their own email address but my husband and I just want to
share an email account/inbox.

Is there any way to do this with outlook 2000?

If not will a higher version achieve what I want to do?

If you are using the one email address then you just use the same profile in
Outlook.
