How do I get the white space around my doc in print preview off?

I used a template off of Microsoft and when I click print preview there is
white space around the document that I do not want. Tracking was turned off
and this did not help.

I suspect what you're referring to is the fact that a colored background or
image is not extending to the edge of the page. Print Preview shows you
pretty honestly and accurately what your printer will actually print, and
most printers have a finite nonprintable area that is required for paper
handling. Even printers that claim to be capable of printing "borderless"
may do so only for smaller paper sizes or may require that you check a box
in the printer Properties to get this effect. In most cases, if you want to
print a document "full bleed," you have to do what commercial printers do:
print on oversized paper and trim the edges.
