Help! I'm trying to get a document finished, and the text in the table
I'm using isn't wrapping - I have no idea why - I've looked for a wrap
checkbox in the format pop-up, but nada, just text alignment - it must
be here somewhere - anyone know where?

I couldn't get native PPT tables NOT to word wrap.

Where'd the table come from? Tables in a PPT file may be native PPT tables,
Word tables, content from an Excel worksheet or probably several other things.

If you click in it then click Format on the main menu, what does the last item
on the format menu say?
