How do I get rid of multiple contacts for same person?

When I hit the "To:" button on a new message, I get multiple
contacts/addresses for the person. For instance: John Smith home email
address, John Smith work email address and John Smith Business fax.

This is the default behavior for Outlook 2002 and later -- any valid e-mail
address is included, and fax numbers are also considered to be valid e-mail
addresses. See the following page for more information and a possible
workaround, at least for the fax numbers:

to "unshown" the fax entries use olfaxprefixer.zip. Its an official
Microsoft product.

Doesn't look like an official MS product to me. The documentation's all in
German.

Hi Brian,
but this third party tool is directly downloaded from the MS sides! ;-)
