How do I get rid of a linked copy of Personal Folders?

One of my users has managed to create a direct link of her Personal Folders.
There is only one Outlook.pst file, with no others in that directory. Mail
is received simultaneously in both In Boxes. And so on.

I ran scanpst on the Outlook.pst file, and discovered it was corrupt. The
repair cycle corrected the errors it found, but I still have the linked
Personal Folders.

Suggestions for repairing this are appreciated.
 
Create a new mail profile via the mail applet in the control panel. (don't
copy the existing one. create new and delete the old one.)
