how do I get my text read aloud on my speakers?

Yesterday I was working on an MS word document. A stranhge icon appeared in
the mniddle of the text. I clicked the icon and a voice started reading my
document on my speakers. How do I get that to happen again. I promise I am
not crazy or imagining the voice
