how do i get my pdf file into a power point presentation

I am trying to create a slide show in Power Point, but cannot get the PDF
file to insert properly. I've tried copying, snapshot, clipboard,
linking......I just can't seem to get it to work!

If not, c'mon back and explain exactly what "can't seem to get it to work"
means. No images appear in PPT? Images appear but are corrupted? Error
messages? Keyboard detaches itself and scuttles for cover as smoke comes
pouring out of the speaker openings?
